Assisting members of the community in developing skills to enhance their quality of life and employability is  one of South Hill Centre's core objectives.

Adult and family education sessions are designed and delivered in house as well as through use of specialist organisations,. For example ESOL (for speakers of english as their second language).

Course needs are identified through consultation and alignment with government and other strategic partner initiatives. Consultation with local residents, existing service users and users of other local children's educational facilities have highlighted the demand for life skills training as well as other basic training.
