If you are a senior citizen or long term unemployed through disability "Dinner Date" provides an opportunity to meet and make friends whilst enjoying a meal provided with a quality of service one would expect from a good restaurant at a very affordable price. The event is supplemented by an after dinner speaker covering various areas of interest.

Throughout the year other activities are organised such as: Summer coach trip, cream teas, high tea, garden parties, Christmas dinner, Christmas tea and choral evenings.

This activity was established ten years ago, caters for up to 40 people and has been supported from its outset by Dacorum Borough Council.

It has received DBC's 10 years certificate of recognition of excellent service.
