SHC host ‘Smarty Party’

South Hill Centre, in conjunction with a new enterprise ‘Smarty Party’, is offering a little extra support for the homeless in Dacorum.

Smarty Party is a new initiative launched by Alex, a local hairdresser, and is supported by the local Job Centre. Homeless individuals are being offered free cuts as a way of helping them to rebuild their self esteem.

SHC is running this alongside its already popular Employability and Wellbeing hub to offer a cuppa and some additional support at the same time.

If you know of somebody who could make use of this service, ask them to pop into the SHC drop in sessions which are held every Tuesday and Friday 10am-3pm and details of the next hair cutting sessions can be provided.
