SHC celebrate 6 years of partnership working with ‘Hart Learning & Development’

South Hill Centre is proud to celebrate six years of partnership working with Hart Learning & Development.

Hart Learning & Development, an arm of North Herts College, have been working with SHC on a wide range of accredited employability and wellbeing courses over that time including: business administration; mental health awareness, customer service, employability skills, IT & Budgeting skills as well as tailored courses for groups such as Asylum seekers and Refugees.

Their great team of tutors have enabled them to achieve a high level of participant retention and post course employment as well as bringing much needed self confidence to all who engage with them.

"A prime example of how local community partnerships work well to enhance the lives of the local residents" - Kelly Ireland, Head of Employability, Hart Learning and Development

“The South Hill Centre has been so welcoming and to many feels like a 2nd home. Everyone you encounter there is rooting for you and helps you see potential in yourself that others may not see. The learners that have been signposted to us are always grateful for South Hill Centre referring them to our courses. It’s a pleasure to help them and assist them on their journey into employment. Looking forward to many more years working collaboratively.” - Chrissy Phelps, Community Learner Engagement Officer, Hart Learning and Development

“South Hill Centre, go the extra mile for every person in need. Together we believe in working hard to build a stronger, more connected community. Our services, together with SHC, are seamless, supportive, and shaped by those we serve. Compassion being at our core, ensures that we listen, respond, and uplift. Here’s to another fantastic 6 years!” - Darren Hay, Course Tutor, Hart Learning and Development.
