SHC Christmas Community Carols 2025

South Hill Centre hosted its 5th annual Christmas Community Carol Event outside of South Hill Centre on Sunday 14 December 2025.

The event was organised by the team at South Hill Centre with the support of the Jupiter Singers, who sang a range of both traditional and modern carols; Encouraging audience participation from families who had emerged from local houses to join this free event.

Mulled wine, hot chocolate, Mince Pies and cookies were offered to all those who attended (along with some glow sticks for the kids!)

Guest choirs from the Maranatha Romanian Church and Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (Hemel Hempstead branch) gave wonderful renditions of carols in their local languages.

The event was supported by Herts County Council’s Festive Grant and by Octavius who provided the funding to support the road closure.
